MOTO G 2015 : RESURRECTION REMIX N-v-5.8.0 (NOUGAT) REVIEW

There are a number of custom roms on the internet for the people to flash on their phone so as to get a lot of more features that they don't get being on the stock rom. Some of these roms include the renowned CyanogenMod, which recently got discontinued and it's legacy will be followed by LineageOS. On the other hand , there's the Resurrection Remix Rom which has a lot of customizable features.
In this post , we will review The RR Rom for the Moto G 2015 (codenamed-'Osprey'). So lets get started.

This Rom is based on the latest Android Version 7.1.1 (Nougat) and made by jhenrique09.

This rom doesn't have the following features yet:

1- Pixel Navigation Bar Animation

But it has these features:

1- VOLTE is supported! (Don't worry Jio Users!)

2- Pixel Theme with the Round Icons.

3- Pixel Launcher with Swipe Right for Google Now

4- Google Assistant.

INSTALLATION PROCESS

The following things are needed:

1. A SD card
2. Unlocked Bootloader
3. Flashed Custom Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
4. The RR Rom Zip(Link is at the bottom of this post)
5. Open Gapps Arm 7.1 (Pico Recommended) (Link is at the bottom of this post)

Installation Instructions

- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps (ARM 7.1 Pico/Nano/Other)
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest TWRP 3.x Recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!
